Following a successful loan spell, the club can confirm that Dave Sims-Burgess has had his contract mutually terminated and joined Swindon Supermarine on a permanent basis.
The striker joined Taunton from Bath City in the summer of 2022 ahead of the club’s debut season in the Vanarama National League South and he finished as the club’s leading scorer. In total he had made 42 full and 19 sub appearances for the Peacocks and hit 12 goals before joining Supermarine on loan at the beginning of November, since when he has found the net regularly for the Southern League outfit.
Head of Football Rob Dray remarked:” Simsy has been a huge reason why we have been so successful in this division and has been a massive character on and off the pitch. He is a great lad, and we will miss him.”
