Stadium Information

GROUND REGULATIONS SEPTEMBER 2020

Persons entering this Stadium must abide by the Ground Regulations as printed in the
match-day programme, published on the Club Website and displayed on posters in the
Stadium. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the premises, a ban from attending
any future events and also be the subject of a football banning order.

Admission to and the right to remain within the grounds is strictly on condition that any
person attending SHALL NOT commit any of the following acts.

1. Failure to comply with any directions given by a Steward, Club Official or Police
Officer.
2. Encroachment onto the playing area or its adjoining parts.
3. Climbing on any building, wall, fence or other structure.
4. Throw any object onto the pitch or within the spectator areas.
5. Be in possession of, and/or lighting any firework or flare.
6. Chanting or singing of an obscene, indecent, discriminatory or offensive nature.
7. Use obscene, indecent, discriminatory, offensive or threatening language.
8. Make an obscene, indecent, discriminatory, offensive or threatening gesture.
9. Damage or deface Club property.
10. Damage, deface or obstruct any notice or advertisement.
11. Bring alcohol or any other drinks into the stadium.
12. Consume alcohol or other drinks that have not been supplied by Taunton Town
FC or their on-site concessions holders
13. Consume any alcohol in locations NOT specifically designated for that purpose.
14. There will be zero tolerance to alcohol abuse/misuse.
15. There will be zero tolerance to drug possession, use and abuse.
16. No Smoking except in designated smoking areas.
17. Bring umbrellas or personal bags into the stadium without prior permission.

Spectators must also note the following:
a) The Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss or
damage to vehicles or their contents, or any other personal property brought onto the
Club’s premises.
b) Photography and use of video including CCTV is in operation at all matches and
events and may be used in any of our media channels.
c) Dogs on a lead are permitted in the Stadium but they remain the sole responsibility of
their owner at all times

THE CLUB RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CARRY OUT PERSONAL SECURITY
SEARCHES AND/OR REFUSE ADMISSION TO ANY PERSON AT ANY TIME,
WITHOUT EXPLANATION

ACCESSIBILITY

Parking
There are two car parks at the Stadium. The main is car park 2 at the front of the ground adjoining the road is for spectators while coaches for visiting teams should be parked at the far end of the car park after receiving guidance from a club steward.

The inner car park situated on the left of the stadium behind one goal (Car Park 1) is currently unavailable as a car park and is restricted for use by matchday refreshment providers or by any other parties subject to prior agreement by the club.

Disabled parking spaces are located immediately to the left of the main turnstile.

Turnstiles
Pedestrian access to the stadium is via the turnstiles which are clearly signposted and located on the end of the stand at the front of the ground. Normally only one turnstile is open but this will increase to two depending on the nature of the game and anticipated crowd numbers. The third turnstile is located at the entrance to the inner car park and is restricted for use by Taunton Town FC Season Ticket Holders.

Entrance to the ground for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, pushchairs etc is via the pedestrian gate adjoining the vehicular entrance upon display of a valid match ticket. Any requests or concerns regarding access for disabled spectators should be emailed to the club.

Entry to the stadium via the gate adjoining the vehicular entrance is restricted to those eligible to park in the inner car park or by prior arrangement with the club.

Spectator Accommodation
All four sides of the stadium have either covered seating or covered terracing:

The stand adjoining the main car park The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Stand has 277 public seats, a Directors Box with 27 seats including reserved seating for visiting officials. There is a wheelchair viewing area in this stand.

There is terracing at either end of the stadium which is in place for its entire width. The mid-section of terracing is covered at both ends.

The opposite side to the main entrance has the North Stand (currently available to sponsor) with 118 seats. Terracing is in place to the right of this stand stretching down to the corner while the stadium surround to the left consists of hardstanding in front of the clubhouse and boardroom. Another disabled viewing area is located to the left of the stand by the media gantry.

Toilets
Toilet facilities are signposted and are located on the opposite side of the ground to the main entrance to the left of the Peacock Suite. Toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities are also situated in the foyer of the clubhouse.

Clubhouse
The clubhouse is open on matchdays from 1.00pm on a Saturday and 6.30pm in midweek. The bar sells a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks, confectionery and pasties. There is a smaller hatch area also selling bar drinks at the changing room end of the stadium.

Office
The Club Office is the located in the portacabin at the top end of the inner car park.

Catering
Catering outlets are open on matchdays and are situated in the inner car park. There is normally a fast food outlet selling burgers, hot dogs, chips etc, a coffee outlet selling speciality coffees, teas, hot chocolate etc and a burrito wagon selling Mexican street food. Other outlets may be present on an ad hoc basis.

Club Shop
The shop can be found next to the clubhouse in the same building as the Peacock Suite. It sells a wide range of club merchandise including replica shirts, scarves and hats as well as other items such as key rings and mugs.

First Aid
First Aid facilities can be found in the Medical Room near to the vehicular entrance to the stadium. Any spectator who requires medical attention during their time at the Stadium should speak to a steward or club official in the first instance who will be able to assist.
