The club were saddened to hear of the passing of former director John Eastment last week. He was elected to the Taunton Town Board in 2004 and was also Treasurer of the club before becoming Chairman in 2007. After standing down in 2010 he continued to act as a Director of the Southern League until his retirement in 2016, having been on the League Board for over 30 years and fulfilling the roles of Chairman and Vice-Chairman amongst others.
