Competitive Debut: 18/09/1985 v Saltash United (A), Western League Premier Division

Paul has a long association with the club, making his goalkeeping debut for the Peacocks at the age of 17 after previously being a left-sided outfield player. He went on to play for several Western League clubs including Bideford where he caught the attention of Tiverton Town, going on to join the Yellows where he enjoyed seven successful seasons whilst making 340 appearances and helping the club to win successive FA Vase Finals in 1998 and 1999 and promotion to the Southern League in 1999. Following his departure from Tiverton he ended up back at Wordsworth Drive as a player and then goalkeeping coach, making 7 appearances during the 2011-11 season. He is now the club’s sports massage therapist.
