A strong and competitive defender, Ben was recruited from Truro City in the summer of 2017. After being on youth forms at both Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City, he joined Salisbury City for two years in 2010 and was part of the team that reached the FA Cup 3rd Round Proper in January 2012. He had a brief spell at Truro City but departed due to the club’s financial problems and signed for National League South club Eastbourne Borough where he stayed for nine months. He returned to the West Country and signed for Bath City in June 2013 before rejoining Truro in February 2016. Ben has successfully adapted from his earlier midfield role to a central defensive position whilst with the Peacocks and was voted joint winner of the Players’ Player award for 2017-18.
