In their first home game in eight weeks, the Peacocks produced a disappointing performance in the Vanarama National League South to lose 1-0 to St Albans City this afternoon. The crucial goal arrived six minutes into the second half when neat interplay down the left culminated in Zane Banton setting up Tafari Moore for a shot into the far corner beyond the reach of Jack Bycroft. The Peacocks created little in response as they suffered their first home League defeat since August 2021.
