Captain Nick Grimes notched his first goal of the campaign as the Peacocks drew 1-1 at Truro City in the Pitching In Southern League this evening (26th September)
The result maintains both sides’ unbeaten start to the season, with Town on top early on. They took the lead after 29 minutes when Jay Foulston’s free kick was headed back in and Grimes was there to head home from close range. The hosts were back on level terms six minutes later when Dan Rooney netted a header from Shane White’s cross. Despite opportunities for both teams after the break it finished all square.
