The Peacocks picked up a well-earned point with a 1-1 Southern League draw at promotion rivals Chesham United this afternoon.
Town were ahead at the break thanks to a goal after 33 minutes when Jared Lewington converted a Ross Stearn cross. The hosts drew level on 64 minutes through Karl Oliyide who fired home from Kylian Kouassi’s lay-off. Roddy Collins then struck the crossbar for Chesham but neither side could find the net again as it finished with honours even.
