The Peacocks will have a second go at negotiating the 1st Qualifying Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy when Wimborne Town visit the Cygnet Health Care Stadium tomorrow evening (29th October) for a replay, kick-off 7.45pm.

Saturday’s first tie ended 2-2, with Town two goals down by the hour mark, not at their best and heading for an early exit before battling back to draw level and force a decider tomorrow. Apart from the incentive of £2,450 for the winners tomorrow, there is also the bonus of a home tie against Isthmian League outfit Aveley in the next round but before any thoughts can be made in that direction, the Peacocks first have to try and finish the job against the Magpies who proved a difficult obstacle on Saturday which will give them confidence of going one better on Town’s home turf.

The Peacocks name the same squad as Saturday, with Head of Football Rob Dray commenting:” We realise we will have to be at our best tomorrow if we want to progress. Wimborne showed their capabilities on Saturday and we are well aware that we must improve tomorrow as we look to make our second chance count.”
