The Peacocks travel to Frome Town tomorrow evening (22 July) as they continue their pre-season schedule of games, ko 7.45pm.

It is sure to provide a very good test as Town get ready for life in the National League, with Frome having beaten Weymouth 2-0 on Tuesday evening. Their three other friendlies to date have produced a mixed bag, opening with a 3-2 home defeat to Salisbury before winning 7-0 at Longwell Green and then drawing 2-2 with Southampton B at Badgers Hill. The Robins finished second to Southern League Division One South winners Plymouth Parkway last season but lost out in the semi-final of the play-offs to Bristol Manor Farm, but will no doubt be hoping to improve further this coming season.

The Peacocks meanwhile will want to put in a better display than their previous outing against Bideford on Tuesday evening which saw them lose 2-1. Zac Smith returns to the squad after withdrawing during the warm-up of Tuesday’s game while skipper Nick Grimes may also possibly be back.
