The Peacocks kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 4-0 win at Bitton yesterday evening. Town dominated the 90 minutes, going ahead after 22 minutes when Ross Stearn netted from the penalty spot after new signing Nick McCootie had been flattened in the box. Another new face Dan Ball made it 2-0 six minutes into the second half when he headed in a Lloyd James’ corner before substitute Harry Warwick added two more, netting on 80 and 86 minutes to complete a decent evening’s work.
