Good evening fellow Peacocks!
Following the postponement of last Thursday’s match against Weston-super-Mare and the financial implications that arose from the lack of income that this created, the TTISA have made a second payment of £2,000 to the club which has been paid to HMRC to help pay an outstanding amount owed.
As with the previous payment of £1,600 it has been funded by the generous donations from the supporters of the club, and is classed as an advance from the original target amount of £8,500 set by ourselves.
From the TTISA and Taunton Town FC we’d like to extend our enormous gratitude to all those who have donated so far. But it doesn’t stop there! We need more to help the club to steady the ship through these choppy waters the club finds itself in.
So please KEEP GIVING! Any amount is gratefully received. Also please take the time to join the TTISA as a paying member and/or please support our upcoming fundraising events – the quiz next Sunday 24th, and the Race Night on Friday 12 April.
