Defender Will Tunnicliff has joined Southern League Premier South club Swindon Supermarine. The young left-sided player joined the Peacocks in the summer but only appeared as an unused substitute in the opening two games of the season before going on loan to Weston-super-Mare which had recently been extended to January. However he has now been recalled and signed permanently for Supermarine although Town will retain his National League registration.

Head of Football Rob Dray said:” We wish Will all the best. He is a great lad and a super player, unfortunately he has some very good left-sided players in front of him. After I was approached by Swindon and speaking to Will, I knew it was a better fit for him at a very good club with Spud and Charlie Griffin where most importantly for him he will be number 1 at left back and plays every week.”

We wish Will the best of luck at Supermarine.
