We are very pleased to confirm the signing of attacking midfielder Dan McBeam. The 19 year old has trialed in the Peacocks’ last two friendlies against Bristol City and Yeovil Town and his signature maintains the trend of reducing the average age of the squad. He has previously been with Reading at U18 level before signing a contract at Barnsley in November 2018. He then left the Yorkshire club in the summer of 2019 and ended up last season playing for Mangotsfield United.
