A first half goal from Zac Smith secured the Peacocks a 1-0 victory at Slimbridge in a pre-season friendly this evening (27th July).
The only goal came in the 20th minute, Smith firing home from 18 yards after Jared Lewington had cut the ball back. Lewington saw his shot strike the crossbar before the break while Dan Sullivan and Gethyn Hill suffered the same fate in the second half when their efforts hit the post.
