We are delighted to confirm the signing of Elias Youssef from Melksham Town.
The 20 year old midfielder already has good experience at a higher level, having originally been with Cardiff City. He then moved to Forest Green Rovers before joining Chippenham Town for last season when he made 27 appearances for the National League South side. After his departure he had fleeting spells at Merthyr Town, Redditch United and Melksham.
Elias told tauntontown.com:” I’m really pleased to get the deal done. Taunton are a great club and I look forward to being a part of it when football resumes. I believe we have one of the strongest teams in the league and can definitely challenge. I’m excited to get on the pitch and do what I can to help the team push forward and I think that working with the gaffer and this group of players will give me a great opportunity to keep improving and enjoy my football.”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” I’m pleased to get Elias over the line. He is another energetic young player with a good pedigree and will enhance the squad in what will be a congested remainder of the season.”
