A massive thank you to Peacocks’ supporter Troy Webster who competed in the Jurassic Coast Ultra Marathon over the weekend on behalf of Taunton Town Football Club. A brutal 87 miles had to be negotiated within 24 hours beginning at midday on Saturday and although Troy was unfortunately unable to finish the course, he still managed to complete a mammoth 65 miles. Troy has been a Taunton fan since a boy and decided to run the race to raise funds for the club given the severe financial issues it has faced during this season.
To date Troy has raised over £1400, a truly fantastic effort for which we are extremely grateful.
