We are delighted to report that Quantock Brewery was the lucky winner of our recent draw to rename the Tom Harris Stand at the Viridor Stadium. The Bishops Lydeard-based company had their name drawn out of the hat during the half time interval of our pre-season friendly with Exeter City last month by Taunton Deane Mayor Catherine Herbert, meaning the Quantock Brewery sign will soon be adorning the stand for the Peacocks’ first season at Southern Premier level.

Quantock Brewery Managing Director Cheryl Ford commented: “We are all over the moon here at Quantock to have been drawn winners in Name the Stand. It is extremely important to us to be supporting our local organisations and the fact it’s our local football team couldn’t be any better.

We are a team of avid footy fans and are all looking forward to coming along and cheering on the Peacocks whilst enjoying a pint of our QPA in the clubhouse. Good luck to TTFC for the coming season.”

Chairman Kevin Sturmey added: “The new Stand Draw was well received and I was delighted to secure 19 companies in the draw for this first year. Thank you to all the companies that entered and to the Mayor Catherine Herbert who picked out the winning ball which was number 16 and our local brewer Quantock Brewery. Whilst there could be only one stand to be named everyone wins as a Corporate Season Ticket is included in the sponsorship figure. We hope the Quantock Brewery gain maximum exposure and all of our entrants enjoy using their season ticket in what could be another exciting season. It is bound to be tougher one level higher but with the support of our sponsors, fans and the community we can all help take this club higher.”
