A second successive 0-0 draw saw the Peacocks share the points with Truro City in the Vanarama National League South this evening. With rain falling throughout, the Wordsworth Drive pitch became increasingly waterlogged as the evening went on and led to an awful game with both sides creating little. Ollie Chamberlain came closest for Town with a first half snapshot that flew just wide while City thought they had snatched a winner with just over ten minutes remaining after claiming Tyler Harvey’s header had crossed the line. The point keeps the Peacocks in 20th spot whilst extending their winless run to ten games as they now prepare for a tough match at St Albans City on Saturday.
