A missed penalty one minute from time ended the Peacocks’ 100% home record in the Vanarama National League South this season as they drew 0-0 with Havant & Waterlooville this afternoon in a forgettable game. A dull first half improved after the break with Havant initially on top before Town had the better of the final quarter and had a golden chance to claim victory when keeper Ross Worner pushed down debutant Elliott Dugan on the line, but Nick McCootie fired the spot kick wide of the target. Havant’s Ansu Janneh was sent off during stoppage time after receiving his second yellow card but too late to make a difference as the Peacocks remain 5th in the table.
