Despite the lack of activity on the field in recent weeks, developments continue off it as the club look to strengthen their support team, which includes the appointment of Gregg Morrison as Schools Co-Ordinator.
Gregg is the Principal of Preston School in Yeovil and has watched the Peacocks since moving to Taunton from London 12 years ago. He commented: “I am a passionate TTFC fan and am keen to help spread the word, influence and reach of the club so that the on and off-pitch fortunes of the club keep on improving. I have enjoyed the journey from the Western League to the National League South, and all of the success we have had in between. In my role as School Co-ordinator, I will be working with all schools in Somerset to try and engage them with the work of the club and share our success.”
Chairman Kevin Sturmey added:” “I am delighted that Gregg has joined our team behind the scenes. I have got to know Gregg over the years as a fan and also as a youth coach in the local youth league when his teams often appear in cup finals. Gregg has all the qualifications, qualities and passion we need to help us grow the Taunton Town brand deeper into schools and our local and wider community. Welcome on board Gregg.”
