We are delighted to announce that Ioan Richards will be staying with the club for the new National League season. The former Gloucester City and Redditch United centre half signed for the Peacocks in August 2021 and made a valuable contribution during the title-winning season.
Ioan told tauntontown.com:” First off, I would like to thank all the fans, staff, and players for making me feel welcome in my first season at the Cygnet. I am delighted to be staying for another season here at Taunton and I’m looking forward to getting back with the boys again. I have enjoyed my time here over the past season and can’t wait to get going and see what this team can achieve next year.”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” Ioan had a good first season with us and he will now push on. He has a fantastic attitude and showed what he can do in the games he played last season so will be another effective member of the squad.”
