The Peacocks turn their attention to the Somerset Premier Cup tomorrow evening as they welcome Western League Welton Rovers at the Quarter-Final stage. (13 Mar), 7.45pm.
Town will once again take the opportunity to field a number of youth players from our Education Partnership with Bridgwater & Taunton College which will allow the Club’s Management the opportunity to take a further look at the talented local prospects.
Rob Dray has also called upon a number of First Team players to complement the youthful Peacocks. Lloyd Irish, Shane White, Craig Veal, Josh Nelmes, Ollie Chamberlain, Douglas Camilo and Bristol Rovers loanee Lucas Tomlinson will all take the field.
With a Semi-Final place up for grabs Rob Dray remarked, “We want to do well in this competition and tomorrow gives us an ideal opportunity for some of the First Team to get some match time and our BTC partners a chance so we can take a look at some of them.”
Due to the recent weather an early pitch inspection in scheduled for tomorrow morning.
