Town are back to league action following last weekend’s postponement, when they make the trip to the Xcel Sports Hub to face Walton Casuals. (9 Feb), 3pm.

During the enforced break, the Peacocks saw their lead at the top of the table cut to just 1 point with 14 games left to go. Casuals have found points difficult to come by lately, picking up 1 victory in their last eight league games, whilst Taunton are yet to earn 3 points away from home this calendar year.

The Peacocks will be without Ben Adelsbury and Keith Emmerson for the trip following their red cards during the 3-2 defeat at Salisbury but do have Dan Sullivan ready to return to action and Exeter City’s James Dodd available.

Ahead of the game Head of Football Rob Dray said, “After watching them on Tuesday down in Poole, it’s clear they have some very good technical players. Their plastic pitch will be a tough test but the return of Sully and James Dodd to the squad will boost us. We’ve had a good rest and fully confident we can go there and put on a performance.”

Town ran out 4-0 winners the last time the two sides met back in November.
