Town welcome Swindon Supermaine tomorrow evening in a rearranged Evo-Stik South Premier division fixture (27 Feb), 7.45pm.

The Peacocks will be looking to continue their unbeaten home record this season and will be full of confidence going into the game after recording 3 consecutive victories in as many weeks.

On the last occasion the two sides met, Taunton left the Webbswood Stadium with all 3 points following a wonder strike from Ben Adelsbury in a closely fought game back in November. Tomorrow promises to be another tough test for Rob Dray’s men who will need to be at their best to preserve the home run.

Supermarine will also be confident of getting a result having climbed the table over the past few weeks and currently occupy 11th place after a 2-0 victory over relegation battlers Dorchester Town at the weekend.

Ben Adelsbury faces a fitness test prior to kick-off and the club welcomes back Douglas Camilo who has been on loan at Bishops Lydeard since the new year.

Rob Dray said, “Tomorrow will be another test for us. It always is against Supermarine. As much as it’s clichéd, we realise we have the toughest run in out of the rest of the title contenders but we will keep our heads down and get on with what’s in front of us.”

Ben Adelsbury celebrates a 30 yards strike to seal a 1-0 victory at the Webbswood Stadium.
