The club have today been informed by the Somerset FA that the Somerset Premier Cup competition for the 2020-21 season has been cancelled.
This follows a meeting of the SFA Cups Committee which considered the later start of the new league season for member clubs and the increased number of midweek matches that will need to be played. Given the possible impact of the weather and any further coronavirus restrictions, it was felt that that it was in the best interests of the game to cancel the Somerset Premier Cup for the forthcoming season. The Somerset FA state they look forward to running the competition for the 2021-22 season.
