The Peacocks secured their first away National League South point of the season with a battling 0-0 draw at St Albans City this afternoon.
A game of few chances saw Town’s Jack Bycroft save from Joe Neal in the first half while Saints keeper Michael Johnson parried Jay Foulston’s shot after the break. A free kick from Shaun Jeffers did find the net for the hosts but it was ruled out, leaving the game to end in stalemate. The Peacocks now focus on Monday’s visit of Chippenham Town.
