The Peacocks suffered their first National League South defeat in six matches when they went down 1-0 at Dover Athletic this evening.
A dismal evening weather wise saw Town concede the only goal of the game four minutes into the second half when a rebound in the box fell to Alfie Pavey who turned to fire home off the underside of the bar. The Peacocks had a chance to draw level on 74 minutes when a challenge on Jake Wannell was adjudged to be inside the box. Lloyd James’ spot kick was saved though by Dover keeper Stuart Nelson and despite some late intent Town left Kent empty-handed.
