A last minute winner denied the Peacocks a share of the spoils as they lost 1-0 at Hemel Hempstead Town in the Vanarama National League South this afternoon.

A generally poor game saw the visitors come closest to scoring in the first half when Jay Foulston’s cross hit the far post but clear chances were scarce, the trend continuing after the break but just when it appeared stalemate would prevail the Tudors scored in the final minute when a flurry in the box saw Montel McKenzie fire home after an initial effort had been blocked. Defeat sees the Peacocks slip to 13th place after a fourth successive game without a goal.
