We are delighted to announce another new signing with the capture of striker Gethyn Hill who has agreed terms to join the Peacocks for when the new season commences.

The 25 year old forward was with Cardiff City as a youth player and also represented Wales at Under 19 level before going on to play for Cinderford Town. He then signed for National League South Weston-super-Mare at the end of 2016, becoming the Seagulls top scorer the following season which included a loan spell at Hereford. After leaving Weston he played for Merthyr Town last season.

Speaking about his switch to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium, Hill remarked:” It was an easy decision when Rob approached me. Taunton is a great club and I’ve seen the progress made over the last few years. I’m looking forward to being a part of it and helping the club push on again.”

Head of Football Rob Dray continued:” Gethyn has got National League experience which was very important. He has always been a pain whenever we come up against him. He has pace, strength and knows where the goal is. Like the capture of Toby, he is a quality striker and I’m thrilled he has decided to join us.”

Welcome to the club Gethyn!
