A goal four minutes from time proved the difference as the Peacocks suffered a 1-0 defeat to Yeovil Town in a pre-season friendly at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this evening (3rd August).
Defences were on top in a goalless first half of few chances before the Peacocks applied the pressure after the break and forced visiting keeper Grant Smith into action. However they could not find a breakthrough and the Glovers nicked the win in the 86th minute when Dale Gorman’s corner was turned in by Tom Knowles.
