We’re certain that Peacock fans remember the team’s fantastic Emirates FA Cup run of the 2018-19 season. Well, now you can relive the excitement of that march to the 4th Qualifying Round through a new book being published by Plymouth author David Kindon entitled ‘Climbing The Silver Pyramid’.
David began the competition in the Extra Preliminary Round by watching Saltash United beat Odd Down and went on to follow the winning club in each subsequent round up to and including the Final itself. He joined our journey when we beat Bitton at home before a memorable night at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium saw National League South side St Albans City thumped by a 5-2 margin. Town then held another National League South club Billericay Town to a draw in Essex but lost the replay by a single goal.
The book will appeal to all Peacock supporters as well as football fans in general as it paints a picture of the game at all levels.
