The Peacocks remain in the Emirates FA Cup after securing a fully deserved 0-0 draw at Yeovil Town this afternoon in the 4th Round Qualifying.
A well-organised and hard-working performance from Town earnt them a second bite of the cherry in the replay at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Tuesday evening as they more than matched their higher ranked hosts. The Peacocks came closest to winning the tie in the first half, Ross Stearn getting on the end of a Nat Jarvis header to volley against the post. The Glovers had more of the play after the break but could not break down the resolute Town defence as the visitors got themselves in to the hat for Monday’s draw for the 1st Round Proper.
