The club are delighted to report that they have been supplied with a new sponsored car by local car dealer Cotford Car Sales.
The agreement further strengthens the partnership with the local business which has provided the club with a sponsored car for several years. Business proprietor Ashley Spurway remarked:” Cotford Car Sales are proud to be continuing our support of Taunton Town FC with the supply of a new car for the 2019/20 season. The car will enable the club to reach out to the local community with planned visits to many different organisations to help promote the club further and to help on match day logistics. Taunton Town FC and Cotford Car Sales, the winning combination!!! ”
Peacocks’ Chairman Kevin Sturmey, pictured above with Ashley and the new car, added:” We are extremely grateful to Ashley Spurway at Cotford Car Sales for providing the club with an excellent sponsored car. This allows Taunton Town F C to promote the club around the town and into the wider community as we have plans for more community engagement as we continue to grow. In the Southern League, distances for away travel are often very long and we can use the sponsored car to transport kit and personnel for many away matches.
