The club were saddened to learn of the recent passing of our former striker Neil Sutton.

Neil was a mainstay of the Bridgwater Town side during the late 70’s and early 80’s until signing for the Peacocks in 1984, being new manager Chris Porter’s first signing and staying for two seasons. He went on to become top scorer in 1984-85 with 22 goals, including a hat trick against Saltash United but still ended up on the losing side as we were beaten 5-6. He continued playing under Steve D’Arcy the following season.

We would like to send our condolences to Neil’s family and friends.
