A Dylan Morgan goal two minutes from time salvaged a deserved point for the Peacocks as they drew 1-1 against Worthing in the Vanarama National League South at the Somerset Campervan Co Stadium this afternoon. Had the home side been able to translate their possession into opportunities though then the end harvest would probably have been all three. There were few chances of note in a goalless first half before the Rebels snatched the lead on 71 minutes, when a Kane Wills corner was met by Greg Luer’s header at the near post which looped over keeper Dan Lavercombe into the net. Town got their rewards on 88 minutes when the ball fell to Morgan just outside the box and after taking a touch inside buried a shot beyond Roco Rees into the top bin and end the Peacocks’ 493 minute goal drought in the National League.
