The Peacocks fought back from trailing at the break to draw 1-1 at Weymouth in the Vanarama National League South this evening.
There were few clear opportunities for either side until Dan Roberts headed the hosts in front after 36 minutes from Joel Rollinson’s corner. Rollinson also hit the post as the Terras ended the first half on top before Town battled back after the break when Dylan Morgan latched onto a ball to run through, round keeper Gerard Benfield and slot home on 65 minutes. Anthony Cheshire’s flick from a Weymouth corner found the post as the Peacocks withstood some late pressure to claim a point.
