The club are pleased to announce their exciting new offering for matchday refreshments, the Food and Drink Village.
As from next Tuesday’s opening pre-season friendly with Exeter City, we will be providing a number of different outlets for supporters to enjoy. If you want a light snack, a more substantial intake of calories or just a cup of coffee then we can cater for your needs with an extended variety of food and drink now being available .
Chairman Kevin Sturmey outlined further the thinking behind the new initiative.” We are delighted to extend our food and drink offering for match days to appeal to a wider audience as we seek to increase our average crowd as part of #project1000”, he said. “The non-league football fan is much more diverse these days with more children and families attending and we need to cater for a wider and more discerning community. I ran my idea past my co-Directors who bought in to the idea, so the next task was sourcing the right outlets to complement the existing Catering Van. We have secured the services of some excellent Caterers who will offer a diverse and varied range of food and drink. All outlets will be open when the turnstiles open so enjoy your dinner and lunch at Taunton Town and get to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium nice and early to #supportlocal. This will also help local hospitality businesses who have all had a hard 18 months and need our support. In the last full season, we were the best supported club and as everyone knows we don’t want to stand still and will keep pushing boundaries to make the matchday experience at Taunton one of the best in Non-League”.
