The club are pleased to announce the return of their Matchday Mascot Package which gives local teams of youngsters the chance to be fully involved with a game at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium. The scheme has operated in previous seasons with great success but was put on hold whilst Covid restrictions were in place. Now that these constraints have eased, we would love to hear from local teams who would like the chance to sample the Peacocks matchday experience.
Highlights include walking out with the Taunton Town team before kick-off and meeting the players after the game plus the chance to actually play football on the pitch.
Club Shop Manager Lee Derrick who is administering the offer told tauntontown.com:” I’m absolutely delighted to be able to help the club promote the relaunch of the Matchday Mascot Package from the Club Shop. It’s a superb opportunity for our local teams to sample a match day, meet the teams, management and staff and to watch the fantastic Taunton Town FC in action”
Chairman Kevin Sturmey added:” We are delighted to be able to re-launch the Mascot offer and thanks to Lee for co-ordinating this for us. It’s a great day out and an opportunity for young teams and players to get involved on a matchday. The highlight is usually meeting some of the players and getting the chance to grace the hallowed turf at half time.”
