There is a special game coming up at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Sunday 4th September when Taunton Town Under 18’s play Tiverton Town Under 18’s for the Martin Ingram Memorial Cup. The game, which kicks off at 3.00pm, was first contested last year in memory of Martin who passed away two years ago. He was previously involved with the Peacocks on the youth side, becoming the club’s Youth Development Officer back in 2004. He was also a former coach for Taunton Youth FC in the Junior Premier League, as well as being a regular face on the terraces supporting the Town first team. He was due to become the Tiverton Town U18 manager before his passing.
Admission to the game is £5 for Adults and free for Under 16’s, with all proceeds split between Cancer Research and St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.
