Taunton Town FC can confirm that midfielder Lee Lucas has left the club by mutual consent.
The former Swansea City and Motherwell player had been with the club since May 2020 and after an injury interrupted two seasons he enjoyed a full and successful participation in the Peacocks’ debut year in the National League South. In total he made 56 full and 10 substitute appearances whilst scoring three goals.
Head of Football Rob Dray remarked:”We’re gutted to lose Lee but circumstances made it very difficult. He has been a superb servant and without doubt technically brilliant. He gave us everything and he will be missed as a player and a lad.”
