We are delighted to announce that Lloyd James will be staying with the Peacocks for the new campaign. The experienced midfielder joined the club on loan from Bath City during last season but has now made the move to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium permanent.

Lloyd remarked:” I’m delighted to sign and was a no brainer for me. I’ve enjoyed every minute since I’ve been here, all the staff and players have been brilliant with me and I’m really looking forward to next season to see what this group can achieve.”

James is a veteran of more than 350 Football League matches with the likes of Southampton, Colchester United and Leyton Orient, and his vast pedigree in the game was evident during the Peacocks’ title-winning season. Head of Football Rob Dray said:” What a guy. He has been superb for us and a real catalyst in us winning the league. His hunger for the game is remarkable and the massive experience he has in League football will be crucial to us next year.”
