We are delighted to report that Showtime Attractions have become the new sponsor of the Town End at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium. The local business provided the Showtime Inn earlier in the season for the FA Cup replay against Yeovil Town in October and the bar has since become a popular outlet on matchdays. Proprietor Rob Holden has now expanded his support further by agreeing a sponsorship deal, with the end now renamed the Showtime Attraction End for the remainder of this season plus the 2023-24 campaign.
Chairman Kevin Sturmey remarked:” “I am delighted to welcome Rob and Jess from Showtime Attractions as a new Business Partner. Rob helped us out in October which was initially for 4-6 weeks, but it is now a permanent fixture and has been a great addition to our “Food and Drink Village”. The catering options they can offer have been exceptionally well received and we are very pleased to be able to offer varied food and drink on a match day to complement our existing outlets, with the Showtime Inn offering draught products to accompany our own Can Bar. As we grow further in the next few seasons, Showtime Attractions have more outlets which will help when permanent segregation becomes the norm.
Rob also subsidised fans’ travel to Milton Keynes by making a substantial donation to keep the coach costs to a very low level and we all thank him for his generosity. This shows again how important it is for our Partners and Sponsors to “buy in” to our plans and matchday experience to create a family atmosphere with something for everyone. Rob stepped in when a deal I had been working on fell through and immediately offered to sponsor the End for the remainder of this season and next season. We now have the Showtime Attraction End and also thanks to Rob, in club colours with our own hashtag to show how much this is a fantastic mutual Partnership.”
