We are delighted to unveil our new home shirt for the 2023-24 Vanarama National League South season! The new strip has been designed in close conjunction with Joma, the club’s kit supplier since 2015, and Somerset County Sports, our Kit and Sportswear Partner.
James Brice from SCS said: “SCS is delighted to be working with Taunton Town FC and Joma again for another two seasons. TTFC have worked closely with Joma in designing the new home shirt, with the popular pinstripe design. We’re also looking forward to working with Lee in the shop to increase his ever growing range of products.”
The new home shirt will be followed by a brand spanking new away shirt at the beginning of July and the third shirt a month later. Retail & Commercial Manager Lee Derrick commented: “It’s my favourite time of the year again – launching our new shirts. For the 23/24 season we have delivered yet again a superb crisp design which is perfect for the players on the pitch and for the supporters on the terraces to wear with pride. We have spread out the launch dates this summer in June, the away Shirt in July and the third Shirt in August to enable fans to spread the cost. There is an increase of £2 per shirt from last season due to increased material and distribution costs which we hope fans will understand. The pin stripe remains for one more season and is very popular with the players. We also have the shirts finished with a round neck collar, cuffed sleeves and look out for the date detailing on side mesh. A new touch this season. We look forward to seeing all of our Peacocks adorning the new shirts as we celebrate another season in the NLS. Your support means everything #upthepeacocks.”
Chairman Kevin Sturmey added: “Our partnership with both SCS and Joma has grown so much over recent years, and it continues to flourish with record shirt sales last year. We now hope to increase even further as shirts are sold all over the world, with our biggest overseas fanbase being Japan! The quality of the kit and the service is excellent and even though we have such a short time to turn around our orders (the close season is too short – take note FA!), both SCS and Joma always do their utmost to get our kit here from the different countries it is transported from. Record sales have been achieved in the Club Shop this year and we hope to increase it much further thanks to Retail & Commercial Manager Lee Derrick’s drive and expertise, but this could not be achieved without the quality kit and leisurewear Joma provide.”
