The Southern League have confirmed today that the Peacocks will be at home in the first leg of the Southern League Challenge Cup Final before travelling to Royston Town the following week for the second leg. The first tie will take place on Tuesday 22nd March at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium with the second game scheduled a week later on Tuesday 29th March in Hertfordshire.

A proposal was made to the League to stage the Final as a one-off game on Saturday 12th March with the venue to be decided by the toss of a coin which both clubs agreed to along with the Peacocks’ scheduled opponents that day Hayes & Yeading United. However the League have declined this request and the Final will be played over two legs as originally planned.
