The Peacocks are up to 2nd place in the Southern League table after a fantastic 1-0 win at Gosport Borough this afternoon.

The result was even more impressive with Town down to the bare bones. The home side had more of the play in the first half although Town came the closest to scoring when Ben Adelsbury’s header hit the woodwork just before the break while Bradley Tarbuck’s header struck the post for Borough early in the second half. The Peacocks missed chances to take the lead but all came good six minutes from time when Toby Holmes got on the end of Adelsbury’s driven cross to clinch a crucial winner.
