The Peacocks recorded a superb fourth successive win in the Vanarama National League South with a 1-0 victory at Dartford this evening.
Cameron Evans was the Town hero with the crucial goal four minutes from time after another battling performance against the second placed side. The visitors struck the post from Ollie Chamberlain early on while Dartford also found the woodwork during a goalless first half. After soaking up pressure after the break, the Peacocks regained the initiative and grabbed the only goal when a corner was cleared and when Lloyd James curled the ball back in it fell to Evans who drilled home to secure the League double over the promotion chasers.
