With the Peacocks’ biggest game of the season fast approaching, we would like to say a belated but massive thank you to First Group, who are our new Travel Partner for our first season in the National League South.

As part of this relationship, the club will soon have its own designated coach liveried with club insignia (watch this space!) to transport the Peacocks team to away matches. Managing Director of First South West Simon Goff remarked”: We are delighted to be working in partnership with TTFC. Having been neighbours for so long, it makes perfect sense for us to be working together and I’m sure this is the start of a long and healthy relationship. We’ve been watching with interest how the club has been progressing and it’s an exciting time to be a part of this special journey that the club is on. We are looking forward to joining you on that journey, quite literally in fact (!) and we look forward to transporting the team to the new grounds in the National League South this season. In addition, we look forward to helping supporters reach home games on our Buses of Somerset network. Up the Peacocks!!’

Club Chairman Kevin Sturmey commented:” I am delighted that we have secured First Group (Buses of Somerset) as our Travel Partner. We have had smaller relationships in the past but now we can really plan our future travel arrangements as we continue to push boundaries on and off the pitch. We are neighbours so it makes perfect sense to now Partner together. Having our own dedicated coach and driver will mean the long journeys we now encounter will be much easier to manage and plan now and in the future. My first meeting with Managing Director Simon Goff was so positive as we share the same values and interest in sport so as we were on the same page and knew what was required from both parties Simon got the partnership moving very quickly, even in these very unique times. I would like to thank Simon, Mark Morgan Huws (Commercial Director) and Lee Horrocks (Business Manager) for all their help and support in securing this Partnership and look forward to working together now and in the future.”
