The club are pleased to confirm that Dan Demkiv will be staying with us for the new season.
The 23 year old striker only signed for the Peacocks from Mangotsfield United in February and got off the mark towards the end of that month with the opening goal in our 2-2 draw at Hayes & Yeading United. He spent over 10 years with Southampton Academy before going on to feature for a number of clubs including Salisbury, Melksham Town and Frome Town.
Demkiv commented:” Glad to have signed for the coming season. I enjoyed my short spell last season and can’t wait to get going and carry on our push for promotion. I’m itching to get back in front of the fans and start scoring again!”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” Dan is another young player who showed glimpses of how good he could be, his unselfish running will again be crucial along with his goalscoring. He has been chased by a few sides, so we are pleased he is staying with us.”
