The club were saddened to learn of the recent passing of Dave West who was the father of our legendary former captain and manager Paul.
Dave was a familiar and popular figure at Wordsworth Drive during Paul’s many years at his hometown club when he made over 700 first team appearances and represented every level from Under 18’s up to first team, going on to captain the FA Vase winning side of 2001 before later becoming manager.
Our thoughts are with Paul and his family at this sad time.
